The Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway's No. 10 Doctor Syn is a 4-6-2 Pacific-style steam locomotive built in 1931 by the Yorkshire Engine Company. Designed by Henry Greenly and A.L.S. Richardson, it features a Canadian Pacific-style outline and shares its design and build history with its sister locomotive, Winston Churchill. Named after the fictional smuggling hero of the Kent marshes, Doctor Syn is finished in a distinctive black livery with yellow lining. After several years out of service, it returned to operation on April 2, 2023, following a comprehensive overhaul
